A quote that has a special meaning to me is by Dr. Seuss, "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind." This quote has a lot of meaning to me because this has a lot to do with my life. I don't let things get to me of how people think of me. I live my life the way I want to live it not caring of what others think of me. My true friends; the ones who matters to me don't mind how i act. They just follow me. So basically the meaning of this quote is how I live my life by.

I was totally lost and that quote helped me out so much and.I also have that quote in my room my aunt stitched it for me and gave it to me for Christmas. It helps me so much in life. One quote that I enjoy highly is Philippians 4:13 from the bible "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength"
The reason why I like this quote is that no matter what, is happening, or what struggles I'm going through I can always count on god to get me through them.
One qoute that I enjoy is by Wayne Gretzky, a hockey player. The quote is, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take".
The reason that this quote means what it does to me is that I belive if you never take a chance at something in life you will always fail at that specific thing.

This is one of my favirote quotes, It means exactly what it says and it's so true. If you don't acknowledge him then he won't set your path, so if you do what you want you will probally go in the wrong direction. This inspires me alot because so many times I used to pay no attention to God and I would just do my own thing but once I came across this verse it struck me and made me think about it more then I could ever imagine. So now when I have a problem instead of doing it my self I go to God and he takes me in the right way. This is why I enjoy this quote alot!!

Something that has always had true and real meaning to me would be "Footprints".......
One night I had a dream--
I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord
and across the sky flashed scenes from my life.
For each scene I noticed two sets of footprints,
one belonged to me and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that many times along the path of my life,
there was only one set of footprints.
I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in my life.
This really bothered me and I questioned the Lord about it.
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you would walk with me all the way,
but I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
"I don't understand why in times when I needed you most,
you should leave me."
The Lord replied, "My precious, precious child,
I love you and I would never, never leave you
during your times of trial and suffering.

I have always gone and read this over and over because it has so much meaning to it. It shows that when GOD says he is going to guide you and help you through your hard times, he is not lieing he really is going to be there for you even though it sometimes dosen't seem like it.
My favorite quote is "I am ready to meet my maker. Whether my maker is prepared to meet me is another matter."
I like this quote because of the meaning. The meaning is that you may not be afraid to die but now is not your time.

This quote means A LOT, especially to athletes. I remember when we played Bartow last year and when I saw that posted up on their batting cage, it ran through my head all night long. Everytime I would want to give up during softball, I would remmeber that and think to myself, "Why give up? Work harder, it'll all pay off in the end." Last year when I was on varsity but I was not starting, I thought that I wasn't where I should be, but then again I would remember this, I've spent countless hours, days and weeks trying to improve, and playing 7 years has helped a lot, and I'm not going to give up now!

This verse is a beautiful representation of how forgiving Jesus is. He loves all of his children, even the ones that openly and carelessly sin against him. I love this verse because it shows how even an adulterous woman, condemned by religious Pharisees, is somehow forgiven by Jesus.
Everyone has sinned. So, who are we to condemn others? I think that we all should try to forgive people, instead of condemning them.

I don't have a favorite quote. I have two. Both are by a man who is my real life hero. His name was Charlie Chaplin. He starred in those old silent films. The reason he's my hero is because he always played the Tramp, the outcast. Bad things would happen to him, and he would just take it. One of his quotes are "Laughter is the tonic, the relief, the surcease for pain." The other is "To truly laugh, you must be able to take your pain, and play with it!" Both of these quotes help me get through the day. I am an outcast. People insult and push me around for different reasons. They don't see the pain it causes me because I smile and laugh. Most people in my position would be all bummed out and be like "Everyone hates me", but not me. I laugh and take the pain. I don't enjoy the pain, that's for sure, but I still take it and play with it. Maybe someday they'll quit, but until then, I'll smile and laugh.

This quote is important to me because it basically states feelings will sometimes get in the way of reality which is true. My favorite quote happens to be one I've written myself. The quote states "React logically, not emotionally when in any type of debate". I figure this is a great quote that many people should follow up on including myself. I have found myself in situations where my emotions would take control and have my mouth running and ot gets me in some big trouble. Also, I have seen people lose their jobs because they fought emotionally and didn't think logically. Since I am a female, I, and many other females, tend to be more emotionally coped with things than males, causing us to use our emotions before we think. However, females tend to be smarter than males, too. =)
Females being emotional and all, I am glad Hilary Clinton didn't win the presidential election (NO OFFENSE) because, like I said, females tend to be more emotional. As you probally seen during the election, she shed tears and showed her emotional side to the world and personally, I don't think we need another sensitive woman to make the decisions for this country. Sorry but that's just my opinion and that's why I say it's important to react logically, not emotionally.

I think this word should be deleted from our everyday dictionary because nobody should doubt anyone including yourself. This word is saying you shouldn't even try because you don't think you will succeed at whatever it may be you want to do, But this word stops you, I think this word is very powerful and determines a lot of people's actions and the way that the think. So thats why I think that word should be deleted from our dictionary.
